try this site youll need ms word or ms word viewer (which is free) but the maps on here give specific maps to spots to fish and where you may be able to get bait. You can then look at other maps to work out how to get there.

http://www.fishinginireland.info/sea/index.htm

you can click on the different colours on the small map of ireland which will ring you to a page for that area at the bottom of the page there will be links to fishing maps for the area. Take the orange section for example you can click it which brings up sections on Waterford Harbour, Dungarvan and Youghal at the bottom of each section is a link that brings you to a page which describes each mark on the provided sea angling maps.

Guys

There used to be a site that had aerial views of the whole Irish coast, which was photographs from a helicopter all linked together by some clever computer boffin.
Any idea where that site is????

I think that site was taken down or else the address changed. It was a government survey to find out about coastal erosion. It was amazingly detailed from what I can remember. I'll keep looking and if I find it I'll post the link.

Thats the first time i've seen my caravan site, the rocks and the beaches around it from a satellite image. Not to mention being able to pinpoint my caravan. Thanks for the resource :D

Lads on the OSI aerial photographs, on the beaches you can see contrasting areas of light and darker water. I'm assuming the light coloured areas are clean ground, are the darker areas weed or rocks/rough ground?

Thanks in advance
