Hi Cortaz, my ipod app tells me that the 5th, 6th, 13th, 14th 26th, 27th and the 28th are the best fishing days in may with the 27th and 28th being the best. The app gives times as well, example: 27th - 06.00-08.00, 12.00-14.00 and 18.30-20.00.

what is the name of the app on your ipod that shows fishing times and moon phases ???? :?: :?: :D

Hi, its called fishing calendar. I've looked back over cortaz's predictions and they match up. The app gives peak times as well and is very easy to use.

Heres some screen shots: http://images.macworld.com/appguide/ima ... 71/ss1.jpg

I have tried most of the fishing apps and this one is the best in my opinion.

another app that is useful for novices like me is ifishingknots. It gives you step by step instructions for lots of knots and tells you what knots to use for different needs. Cant find any screenshots but this: http://www.coffeeentertainment.com/asse ... 416359.jpg is basically the same. Its animated and again, very easy to use. I have lots of other fishing apps but these are the only to that get any real use.

90 minute session tonight(thursday 10.30 til midnight) landed 2 fine 2kg'ish bass and a 31" starrie, lost a whopper bass in the
weeds trying to land it at midnight and called it a night. all 3 fish on lug. 3-4 worms per hook.
interesting earlier around 8pm when digging my bait as the tide was at my feet the bass were going nuts in 6" of water coming in with the tide!! oh! how i wish i had a fly rod or lure rod with me. i only took the rod out of the car that day before i went digging!! haha, won't make that mistake again! great to see them moving with the water. only time i ever saw that was at Courtmacsherry a few years ago, i had my rod that day :D . looking forward to the weekend fishing and the reports here! thanks Cortaz, me fishing results are growing! :D

Ddnt get out much last few days , had other unforseen commitments, meetings wit planning consultant, solisators, council officals, then looked at a few sites...i was busy :) guided an elderly semi invilad gentelman yesterday afternoon, first mark he had a 6lber on a F.S.popper, next mark a 5lber again on popper, to say he went home happy would be an understatement.
There are lots of fish about there just not taking or they cud be feeding selectly on shrimp or hoppers, :? think it more to do with the lack of baitfish in the bay, theres a few sandeels about and thats all no big sholes of sprats/fry :?
