I agree with Liamo and Lumpy on this one. Recently started using the bimini and could not get over how hard it is to break.

You just need to keep an eye on the leader knot as it is coming in and remove any weed - there is no surefire way to stop it.

in point NO.3 there - does it run down over the origional twist itself or do you need to wrap it?

nah been practicing knots with some of the rubbish i picked up in blackhead - at least it went to some good use - reduce reuse recycle and all that :lol:

No matter what tactics you use to try and avoid this problem your still gonna get weed caught up on your line.Like lumpy said youll just have to grin and bear it.Ive fished seas in both Northern Ireland and England and ive had this problem myself,there is no surefire way to prevent it.
