Im sure I dont, but what little I do know, that works, Im happy to share with people. I get enjoyment out of other people's success especially if I have been able to help them im some way

Thai fish sauce which can be bought in the asian section of most large supermarkets is an excellent attractant.
Regarding WD40, would have issues using this stuff myself in a marine enviroment as like any other oil it is a pollutant and by the letter of the law would controvine MARPOL regulations.
