Species:Monkfish of approx 75lbs

Specimen Weight:Suspended

Irish record:73lb

Location:Kerry

Bait:mackerel

Rigs:Flowing trace to 2/0 SAkuma Manta extra

Report:

Cant say too much as it may go to print but suffice to say a battle and a half. Caught from my own boat in Kerry. She is still out there lads and thats the main thing.... :D

I had to transfer the fish to a nearby charter to get some proper pics and measure and tag her. No way of doing that aboard the little SeaJeep...

looked like your boat has a touch of the dr who's tardis :D
I take it the charter boat was targeting those fish too with the large water tank, was he getting specimens for the aquariums?
super fish, well done, all you need is one of them in the master angler comp this year!
