No, not a normal season, by a long shot, but I'll take it like this as often as I can.

I've just had an extraordinary week's fishing...had over 30 bass this week, most were in the 60 - 70cm range with about 7 or 8 over the 70cm mark  . Cortaz's theory on 'predictable fishing' sure came up trumps :D and I'm a confirmed fan  .

that's some going, had about 7 myself for the week but lost about 12 thinks it's cause I took 2 trebles off the plug I was using think it swims better with just the back one

I'm going to give Padge73 a plug here...if you pardon the pun  (I assume I'm allowed to :?: ). The lure you see in the picture is a Duo Tide Minnow. Its an excellent lure. It casts for miles...much further than other quality lures like the Alie Magnet, Angle Kiss, & Maria Chase, and has an excellent action. I called upto Padge two weeks ago and got a few of these, plus a few Feed Shallows, and Xlayers. Padge is now stocking these excellent Japanese lures and others he's getting from Ultimate Fishing in France. It would be worth giving him a shout. His blog is here....http://seirelandlurefishing.blogspot.com/ 8)
