Nice one thompo ,you dont get to many rays from the shore in the north so you should get extra points for that one !
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.

Conger, Codling, Coalfish, Shore Rockling, Dab, Flounder, Dogfish, 3 beard rocking, Pollack, Whiting, Pouting, Red cod, Poor Cod, Tadpole fish, Short and Long splined sea sculpin, TopKnot, Cukcoo Ray,

Targets: fish over 10lb, eel over 20lb (came VERY close almost :( )

Not sure if this is a longspined or short spined?

he took squid of waterfoot pier! on a size 4 2 hook scratcher, biggest ive caught he was in around 15-20cm
species so far 2007 (18....)
Conger, Codling, Coalfish, Shore Rockling, Dab, Flounder, Dogfish, 3 beard rocking, Pollack, Whiting, Pouting, Red cod, Poor Cod, Tadpole fish, Short and Long splined sea sculpin, TopKnot, Cukcoo Ray,

to me it looks like a long spine... could be wrong though..

does look like a long spined ,short spined dont tend to be as bright and the spines are more like stumps .
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.

No need to thank me, I mentioned it to JD after Goldsy asked me how he could show some appreaciation to the site members for the loyal following they give him (he reads the site regular) and for the welcome he gets every year in the Winter Festival comp, he always looks forward to coming over (not just for the winnings :evil: )

rock goby for species hunt

Dug a few worms to go fishing down Bangor pier with Matthew (my son).Not much around except for poorcod and this rock goby which i caught on my last drop.It was caught on rag, 8-7-07.
