Open to everybody.
Post a pic of your fish with where,when and how you caught it and any other details you like.
Fish must be identifiable.

Do not post saying pic to follow- i will delete the post.
Only fish caught in 2007 in/off Ireland count.

First pic posted of a species counts gets 15 points for the person.

Yes - Blennies,Goldsinny wrasse, Sea trout caught in the sea count.

Next (different) person posting a pic of that species gets 10 points

3rd person gets 5

Person with most points wins (as of Jan 1 2008) .


You must reply below attaching your pic to enter.

Dogfish...LSD Currabinny pier tonight. Took lug tipped off with squid tossed into the channel and was the only fish of the night. 15 points please :D

Lads....Let it go.... :roll: I know some of you are still sore about the 2 lovely Turbot I caught in Benone after having a nap but you must move on. Its unhealthy of you all to harbour all this resentment :D

coalie and a codling,

Coalie took a 4/0 pennel intended for some cod with whole squid and large bit of mack.

codling took a small squid and mack bait on a 1/0 2 hook flapper with booms (from lidls lol)

all caught in the Redbay area of Co. Antrim on a stormy night 03/01/07, codling in fairly close over sand and the big coalie was far out over sand, lots of smaller ones upto 1lb close in

forgot about this wee chap think its a dab it took mackrel strip on the bottom of a 2 hook flapper again from red bay on 03/01/07 and close in.


bloody phone was filled last night or would have had a pic of a shore rockling and and video of a large conger fight and win got about 2 secs footage of my mate saying how does it work haha (in american terms i touched the leader would that have counted lol).

I was shaking my camera but no eligible fish fell out (yeah-plus ca change)

I managed a shore rockling , pouting and a shanny :lol: total weight prob less than half a pound , Oh the joys of bangor pier on a good night ,all fish came to ragworm .
