screeming reels, if you can get a spurdog and a corkwing wrasse you will have caught one of every species on the board, you have 32 of the 34 species listed :shock: :shock:

Hi,
Threw a corkwing back last week!!confused it for a ballen wrasse, will not happen again, spurdogs are sadly lacking around this area, but off to galway bay next week with the SAI comp, and its prime time for them in the bay!!!

hard to tell from the photo eric but it looks like a corkwing female ,they show the purple area when spawning .. rock cooks are slimmer bodied generally and a more orange/gold for females . .and not as deep bodied as the corkwing would be .

thought it was corking at first but did seem rather slim for one, possibly just because of the spawning as you said

:oops: :oops: just realised i could have had points in the boat section.. had haddock and blue shark.. i could still put up the points for the blue, but there's no point really.. it wouldnt do anything for me(wont win me any prizes)

i'm just happy to have got one and it was nearly twice the size of jw's :twisted: :twisted:
