hello to all you surf bass anglers. me and my nephew are visiting kerry for one weeks beach fishing for the bass tomorrow. we are staying in tralee. are they any beaches catching. we are going to try inch, stradbally and banna strand.

With the current tides Stradbally is going to be extremely difficult to fish, even an 8 ounce gripper would struggle to hold bottom if there is a surf up. Give it a miss and fish further down at Fermoyle or Kilcummin. Best on last of ebb and early flood.

Was going to head down to Brandon Bay on Sunday myself. Then looked at magicseaweed - close to 30 foot waves!!!!!! Hmmm.....I'm brave but I'm not that brave!

We fishing a two day comp in Waterville gonna be interesting, 36 anglers booked in to fish all weekend... Don't know how it gonna end up...

196 fish caught between 36 anglers in two days, first was 4 hours on renroe beach and second day 4 hours on ballenskelligs beach....

Bull Huss, bass, mullet, dogs, coalies, flounders were the fish caught...
