Weather lovely

Free day lovely

Wife said why don't you go fishing lovely

Tides lovely

Right I said this looks great
Lovely tides nice day on my own off I go

Hits garris in Waterford for 2 o clock perfect low tide loads of fear in the bag
Lures plugs spinners etc.

Got to beach no one there.

Waders on rod in hand. Bag with munches etc

First 20 minutes lost 2 good plugs wtf.

Moved down beach half hour another plug lost. Complete wtf.

Strolled to start of beach.

Climbed out onto rocks watched tide carefully. Fishing away in the sun

Spots a fog coming over hills.

Honestly within 25 min I couldn't see the beach. The sky darkened like it was the apocalypse on the way ( I'm not joking it went black )

Said I wouldn't chance where I was as big high tides on the way.
Got in water with waders
Snagged the waders in a rock water poured in

Got to shore.

Soaked

3 lures gone

Starving

Tobacco soaked also.

Balls of a day.

Could be worse though.
A lot worse.

Seeing that weather change within 20 minutes from summer to winters night was scary.

One thing I learned from fishing.

Never ever ever take it for as it seems

Keep an escape plan ALWAYS

Fast exit = another days fishing. And not a headline on the paper reading

Fisherman found

Scary man I swear.
Seem it before with a mate weather changing fast but this scared me.

And when I got back to Waterford city

It was lovely. ??

Strange thing indeed, the weather. I just got off the phone with a friend who lives about 20 miles down the coast. There's barely a puff of air here, it's gusting a force 4 over with him.
