I have seen Dutch/Belgians using them to great effect fitted to a single hook at the end of a little jig - for bass and pollack.

i have thousands of them dunno where they came from might trow som on a jig head and have a go later:/

Snick a strip of fresh mackerel belly on the hook with one and hold on tight......
