Looking for a recommendation for a pair of "good value" wading boots with very good grips, especially for slippery rocks. have used felt soles in the past but on grass their lethal.

Cool. Could you do a review o them in 6 or 9 months, let us know what you think of durability and build quality? I've been thinking of those for the next set of boots I buy, but the ankle support always makes me think twice.

have heard the bison boots are pretty rubbish after a few months use, apparently the studs come up through the soles and the zipper failed very quickly. have been using these for the past 9 months for both saltwater and freshwater use. http://www.northeasttackle.co.uk/game-f ... studs-p491 still showing now real signs of wear or most importantly the sole coming away. what ive found with wading boots and i think ive gone through about a dozen pairs in the past 10 years is the cheaper pairs dont last at all.

Will do.

As lumpy pointed out reviews are mixed so I'll share my experience after a few months of use.

cheers for the replies, the scierra boots at GAC look good with £10 P&P (especially with the euro so strong againt sterling)
anyone know where i can get felt apart from spending £20 on the snowbee replacement felt, which seems a rip off....??

Kinetics wading boots are shLt.falling apart at the seams after about 15 sessions.the waders seem to be holding up well though
