Lure to imitate Gobies

Sun Dec 23, 2012 1:22 pm

Does anyone have any tips on lures/ techniques to imitate gobies? I was think a small stubby shaped soft plastic very slowly twitched along the bottom sand/mud. And does anyone know would they be a favoured food source for bass or sea trout? Cheers

These are an excellent imitation

They are made by kamagotchi and I think they are called a pintail. Work very well for pollack and wrasse but I have never used them on the bass marks

I'd agree with Crevan, Hazeldongs are the best!

Thanks all. Do you think these type of lures would work on mudflats in an estuary? Would a slow retrieve with little twitches be best? Any good for sea trout?

Here's a few more to look at. Not sure about seatrout on any of them but you never know.
