Have a look at some of the Hart range supplied by tronix pro. Not among the most popular but excellent all the same.
good service as well, I broke the tip section of mine and got a replacement with no trouble at all

It will do all the things you want it to do.

Have a look at the Grauvell Teklon Concept.

A great rod and you should pick one up for around the €130-€150 mark leaving a bit to go towards reel/lures etc.

The Surecatch salty is a beaut at the money! I also have the P&M Gunki Hayashi 210 -A great all rounder. The Hart Epitaph One is a great rod too...a bit stiff but great! You could look for a second hand Element Rider...

I have the Teklon 802ml and I have had a Shimano Twin Power 4000 on it. I found it was a good balanced set up.

Also had a 4000 Technium which I had on it a few times too.

In my opinion a 4000 Shimano is perfect.
