I don't know about spinning, but it seems that the fishing around Greystones is quiet at the moment, at least at the pier. But you might get lucky.

Where do you spin for them?? From the pier or the rocks or north or south beaches? also what type & size of lures do you use. Would be great fun if it woked! Better at least than just standing on the pier bait fishing and catching nothing which happened to me on thursday :(

if you find an area holding coleys then there shud be no problem catching them on a small metal spinner
great fun on the fly too

its all about finding them... catching them is the easy part

Agree 100% with Chuckaroo, if they're there you'll catch them. Have caught a few coalies of the South beach on bait, never in great numbers for me personally but they are about.
