lure marks in south dublin

can anyone suggest a few good lure marks for bass or pollock in and around south dublin?

I've tried Poolbeg (sandymount side) twice but seems to be just a high water mark. both times the water clarity was terrible

I'm probably just going to lose all teh lures in snags anyway...
