lure fishing north Dublin?

I have an opportunity to go lure fishing on Friday on a north Dublin mark ,my target is Bass. Do you think it is too late in the year for lures or should i just stick with bait?

Not too late still a few sandeel shoals about plus we havent had any frost yet so ye never know,the fishing gods might be good to ye

blanked my last two lure sessions in North Dublin, might give it just one more go........
