diawa procaster x

I had a run in with a seal in skerries last week and my old faithful abu cardinal reel kicked the bucket after about 12 years of active service r.i.p,anyway was looking at diawa procaster front drag,or new saltwater cardinal reels,wud love to get a shimano but u know how it is at the moment,any opinions wud be great
