Anybody had any experience bassing in the shallows with plastic crab such as the Gulp stuff?

Thanks to both of ye. From past posts, most people seem to be using them as an occasional standby so far. This being a good solunar week, I'll be trying them out weedless in the tidal rubble pit where I caught a good bass this time last year. Its belly was full of hardbacks, and since its cousins have been ignoring all manner of plugs so far, crab would seem to be the next experiment. Peelers are not easy come by up here. Good luck with the wrasse, Sir Roger.
