Hi lads,
Can any of you recommend the most suitable reel, for a Penn Millenium 11ft spinning-rod.
Regard's
Joe.

Hi Joe,
surprised nobody offered you advice on this 1, I know nothing about your rod but assuming you want a reasonable spinning reel the Shimano baitrunner series seem to be the reels of choice amongst the lure anglers.
Here's a link to info on current models, hope this helps.

Hey Joe,
What are you spinning for? Pollock, Bass, Mackeral.? If you can let me know your rough budget as well. As you can guess, A half decent reel can go from 50 yo yo's upwards.

Hi lads,
Thank's for the replies, I was thinking of spending around the €100 mark or maybe a little more,
and the species Im going to try for is Bass.

You just beat me to it Jim

Some very nice stuff in the 4000 size from shimano.
Try Veals for a good deal. Henry's tackle have a decent range as well, he'll also haggle out a deal with you.

Gotta agree with you, I've just had a few trips out with one and it is a good job.
