ive done well on a black jelly worm with a red tail and a drilled bullet lead on up the line. just keep a steady retieve and if you feel a pluck don't strike, just keep retrieving and they usually hit a second time and get hooked.

a real sandeel works sometimes

lead head with a ragworm threaded on it works very well, had a few pollock to 4lb on it last night from a dublin rock mark

german sprats, dexters wedges and flying c's are all favourites of mine

how are you setting them up mate? i usually use about 3 foot of clear 15 line set up as a running ledger, lead depending on the rod, twitch the rig on the retrieve keeping it just above the weed line.

Don't laugh as im being serious ,last year i got my hands on a few bass assasins[lead head type lure, with colured foil],they worked brillantly, saying that any red gills[smaller sizes]always did the job,and a friend of mine uses the maria chase red head bass lure to great affect once the sun starts to set and the pollack rise from their weedy layers.
Tight lines

The smaller red muppets that are flecked with silver have been great for me on certain days.

Condor bar has accounted for most of my pollock. Took 12-15 on one last weekend
