hi all ,does anybody know how to go about getting permission to kayak in blessington lakes.any info would be greatly appreciated,cheers

Id get on esb as they own the lake, or you could get onto ur local tackle shop and they could point you in the right direction.

A permit is required for:
Canoeing
Rowboats
Sailboats
Boats with an outboard motor engine not exceeding 6 hp
No inflatables less than 4 metres allowed
Boating season: November 1 to September 30
Lifejackets must be worn at all times
Get a boating permit
Apply in writing with appropriate fee for boating and/or canoe/sailboard to:
