permission to kayak in blessington

hi all ,does anybody know how to go about getting permission to kayak in blessington lakes.any info would be greatly appreciated,cheers :)

Id get on esb as they own the lake, or you could get onto ur local tackle shop and they could point you in the right direction.

Recreational boating
A permit is required for:

Canoeing
Rowboats
Sailboats
Boats with an outboard motor engine not exceeding 6 hp
No inflatables less than 4 metres allowed
Boating season: November 1 to September 30

Lifejackets must be worn at all times

Get a boating permit
Apply in writing with appropriate fee for boating and/or canoe/sailboard to:

Ardnacrusha
Co Clare
