Soft Racks for 2 Frenzy's ?

Postby yakker » Tue May 04, 2010 10:45 am

Anyone know if a soft rack (like these http://www.its.caltech.edu/~surfer/soft ... ctions.pdf) would hold two Ocean Kayak Frenzy kayaks? They are polythene boats and weigh about 45lbs each. They stack neatly upside down on a srtandard roof rack but I only have a rack for one of the family cars,

OK, but than link seem to be for a specific club for specific racks. Let me modify my query to -'Can I carry two kayaks without a standard roof rack'.

Dont see why not...as long as you tie it well down and is secured it well enough.... As them blow up jobs are only really to save your car and not carry weight.. a couple of roof bars would be a better job, and a lot safer in the long run.
