Report:left for a full day charter headed for the hook to see if any Mackerel about found plenty in the deeper water went to try for a few ray had only been anchored for 20 mis when a beam trawler towed past the stern of the boat about 100 yards away up the starboard side and across the bow.so that was that f****d went for a conger took a while to find them had a few ling and cod as well finished the day on the drift with cod pollock coalfish and Mackerel.
not a bad day for early in season,
