Fishing with Dennis in Youghal

A few pics from our day's fishing yesterday in Youghal with Dennis Retter. Was a super day, fishing the estuary during daylight and then moved onto the beach for the rising tide into darkness.

The Estuary fished well for small codling and the beach brought some dogs and whitening.

Dennis had the most fish while Andrew had the first dog of the day from about 200m!

Conditions were mostly calm with a bit of chill breeze on the estuary.

A very big thanks to Sod for organizing the bait and rigs, great work mate.

Some of the catch were deep fried in batter this evening.

Great weekend of casting and fishing, Pity about no big cod or ray but nice to be out and have good company.

paddy that headlight is an antique get it up on ebay !!!!!!!

I didnt think it was that long since I retired from sea fishing,,,
Still it did the job and might even be another few sessions left in it...
