More Ball work on Technique

Postby JPS » Sun May 15, 2011 5:56 am

Well with the last of my holidays now here I thought I would go out again and do some technique work , I had hoped to cast a lead but people and car issues precluded me from doing this.

I was working on a consistent back swing as well as arm placement to get a better final finish and left arm pull working. After discussion with a very good friend who has helped a number of other casters overseas I decided I would heed his advise and increased my arm spacing more than I had. I did this in increments till I felt I was able to get into a good final finish position.

Here is the video footage that I took after getting to where I felt best with the arm position. I have taken the clips from different angles to ensure that I was achieving what I had hoped for. All in all I ma reasonably pleased with the results and am looking forward to getting out on the 175 and 200 gram leads later next week.

Any comments or feedback is welcome and appreciated. :D

Thanks for that Paddy , I have found that the regular short session are much better for my consistency as well as working on problem areas.
