Well this weekend has been quite hectic and I only had a short window of time to get out and have a practice session. Heading down to the local park I found that a number of the fields were being used for footy and soccer so decided that casting the ball was my only recourse.
I was good to be able to just relax and work on my foot placement , my arms and hand grip and trying to get the timing worked out on the back swing where the lead steps out at the peak of the upstroke so that it sets up outside of the tip and at the maximum arc and therefore getting the highest lead speed for the turn speed.
I didn't get everything I wanted worked out so will be hard at it in the lead up to our next comp on the 17th.
Here is some video footage showing how I went, its good to see the ball in the last few clips as you can see how it come right around in the arc and then straightens up which is what we strive for.
