just wondering if any of ye have used this rod? what kind of action it has and what leads is best suited to it. the rod will mainly be used for distance work and some heavy ground work as well,thanks

There are a few diff variants out there so depending on age they can vary somewhat,,
but mainly they tend to have a very progressive action that bends in a "J" curve with excellent recovery speed,
a stiff-ish tip and powerfull power-pointed butt section, well capable of huge distances on the field and can handle any fishing situation thrown at it, more suited to mixed/rough ground and will cast 8oz with bait with ease but best suited to 5-6oz.

not to sure how old this rod is but i know the butt dia is 25mm, so maybe its a new enough version.it is the 13,2 ft rod. thanks for the info. looks like there's another zippy on the way!
