Casting Lessons

Postby Trojan » Fri Nov 26, 2010 3:48 pm

As stated above I am looking for casting lessons. I bought my first multiplier reel about a month or to ago i have used it a couple of times with out any great excitement :?, I can cast around 120 with a fixed spool so i can see the multi gathering dust already as with my casting technique i can only dunk it out around 100 max.So like most sports a lessons from a pro is a big step in the rite direction :).Any names or numbers would be great thanks.

Robbie, any of the lads from Sports cast Ireland will help you out,Paddy C will probably pick up on your post.Sportscast Ireland ,home of the best caster in the country...BAR NONE ! .As regards fixed spool over multiplier... its personel choice really,I'm a multiplier fan,Paul Mason on this site is the man to put you right regarding fixed spools.

Does anything like this happen up north? Its a bit far to travel for me, I'm from Carrickfergus, so was looking something a bit closer to home. Great idea tho and i would love to attend, cause i know for sure my casting could be improved lol

Thanks for any info.

Yes infact a few members of Ulster casting club are from near Carrick. We were casting today up north in Bushmills. Every 2 weeks on a Sunday.
There's also a few of us from Bangor area go for a few chucks most saturdays either in the field we have in Holywood or down the beach when tide suits.
You're more than welcome.
