2nd Installment ASF championship Report

Postby JPS » Fri Jun 18, 2010 3:26 am

Well here is the second instalment of photo’s from last Sundays event , they really capture the enjoyment that was had from the attendees as well as showing the dedication of people in getting the most from the event both with their casting as well as the support to the sport.

(Eddie offering support with a line spooling aid?????)

(Lee manning the video camera but not wanting to give up his meal – some would say like a hungry dog)

(Jonno making hot super to fight of the cold with Lee thinking about dunking his roll)

(Gary checking wind speeds)

Scott Selby's 300 yard achievement award - our first offical 300 yard member. Scott was missed at this years event due to illness but we look forward to seeing him at the next one as it is something that more members will be aspiring to in the future as we strive to put a full team of top line casters onto the world stage.

( Get well soon Scotty :D )

(Lee Andrews accepting top honours for the day - He decide that a new TT Super mach was in order to help with the Gummies on the beach)

(Mr. Bonner taking his well earned 2nd place trophy and considering which of the Century rods to add to his growing collection)

The successful Mr. Graham Smith who took out the open raffle prizes was jubilant about being able to get a new Kompressor SS blank that rounds out his current fishing rod of the TTLD and TT Super match which he has been using for a while targeting the Salmon and Gummies that patrol our beaches.
Now with the SS he has a rod that can put the sinker and or baits out a very long way. And he doesn’t need to get finance approval from the family account manager like the rest of us.

The Smile says it all for Graham :D , the rod has already had guides taped into position and a set of coasters fitted for this coming weekend where he will cast it with pleasure for the first time. I must say that he seems to be a very happy man these days.

I wonder who next years winners will be – remember you have to be in it to win it.

Keep smiling and videos to follow in due coarse.

Regards
