2nd event of the year hopefully the weather will be kind :D

New members are welcome to join or day casters (10 eur to cover insurance) most welcome.

Great crack and plenty of good advice.

cant make it lads have a kids comp that day might drop up though after comp at 3.30 if your still up there

usualy starts around 10 am, if you want to pop up for the day its 10 euro, well worth a go, its in newtown mt kennedy, near kill murray, Co Wicklow

what are the rules and what line diamiter is allowed ? and what weight leads are used ?

just a note to all casting , newbies in particular , try all the different leads if possible to find which one really suits you or in the case of the more serious casters , to become better right accross the board ,
175 gram lead uses .35 line
150 gram lead uses .31 line
125 gram lead uses .28 line
100 gram lead uses .25 line

leads are available at 50cent each .

weather forecast is giving wind anywhere from north west to north east in direction , so we will be in another field if thats the case ,

the wind is forecast for northwest 2 morrow so we will be in the field lower to the usual one , bring wellies its a walk from the top down :) dennis in the sportscast ireland jeep will bring the gear down , mr plow thats his name that name again is mr plow :D
its the field running down to the trees in the middle
