Left hand casting

Postby nthclare » Fri Nov 27, 2009 11:33 am

Im right handed but have to cast like someone thats left handed due to a back problem for some reason from a back injury I cant do the motions of a right handed caster..

Are there any left hand casters in your club ?

It makes is no difference! its the exact same angles just on opposite side. opposite hands and stance too. We dont have any leftys in the club yet but i have cast with a few in the past and the were more than capable.
If its only due to a back injury (as in your not naturaly a lefty) better off sticking to OTG, less chance of further injury

I always cast off the left even though I'm right handed. I feel very uncomfortable casting off my right side for some reason; I was always more powerful swinging a hurl off my left perhaps!
