was just wondering if anyone here knew of casting classes
or anywhere i can improve my casting.. was going to head
to a local park armed with rod reel and leads and just bang
it up and down the fields. i'm just starting to use a multi
and wanna get good distances, but just think it'll look a bit
mental standing in a park in belfast with a 15ft rod trying to
belt a lead about............................................
some times catching crabs is a good thing.........or is it...........?

We've all been in the field looking like mad men before. There is a casting club up North that would be worth looking at. I think it's http://www.ucc.com I'm sure one of the lads here will point you in the right direction. Also, we have a club down South (Sports Cast Ireland) and a few outings yearly. I'd say were about 2.5 hours away from Belfast. I'm sure You'd be more than welcome to join. We will be meeting in a comp format a lot this year, but we will also have days for tuition and getting new members involved.

Be careful, it's addictive
