Grease for reel gearing

What brand of grease do you use when servicing reels.

I had a can of spray on white water proof grease but its now at its end and I can't source anymore. Anyone have any recommendations and where to buy?

Any DIY shops or garages should stock them, there are quite a few diff brands just make sure you get a fully waterproof grease, penn do a nice one called "i think" Protector Grease, thats spicifcly for reels i got some a few years back or if you want to splash out silicone grese but thats very expencive. Hope this helps.

You just sparked a memory that veals sell a penn grease. Checked the catalogue there now and they sell a 2oz Tub for of "Penn Precision Real Grease" for £4.99.

Thanks
