People are fishing a competition at Rossanrubble? Is this common or been done before? There is one hotspot there maybe 50 yards wide at most.... would not seem very fair?

yes its has been done before - only when there are small numbers usually - for that very reason

Westport SAC Festival June 24th Shore, Boat 26th.-28th. June
Killala SAC, Noel Munnelly Comp. 11th July
Youth Boat 25th July
Corrane SAC 8th-8-20 Children Naughton Cup.
9th-8-20 Gold Medal Pat O Hara Cup.
