we went out on a boat to check out some of the marks for the ray,we anchored up within casting distance of the shore
plenty of ray about,we started catching them like mackerel

we have some frozen bait for Saturday and we should have a bit of fresh mackerel delivered on Friday evening if any one needs it let us know before then

some people were telling me they could not make it for 11:00 but its not a problem if you want to to join us later in the day,there will be someone at the station to give you a card all day

the rules and the maps for all the marks for the competition are up on the wall on the right hand side of the rnli station
anyone who prepaid can pick up their cards on the table on the left hand side of the station and anyone who is signing up on the day go to the table on the right
we have some frozen and fresh mackerel at the station if anyone needs some bait
we have signs up around clifden to help people find the station and marks
conditions in the bay look perfect for ray fishing and the weather is promised good
we will be open at the station from 9:30am
