The most fish points wins!!! one point per cm and five points per fish ie: If you have a 20cm fish it would be worth after adding up fish points 25points simple!!! You can use any colour lug pink, brown, red blue. I dig my black lug out of the bottom of my freezer and if you need any don't hesitate to ask ! Yes I'm an auld Dub and proud of it and if you want to join a new group of scum? you're more than welcome to come.

Tuesday night will be cloudy and windy with outbreaks of rain. The rain will turn heavier and persistent during Wednesday morning, before clearing from the west during Wednesday afternoon and evening. Strong southerly winds will veer southwest as the rain clears. Apart from well scattered showers near north and west coasts, Wednesday night will be dry though cold with slight ground frost.

Looks like it will be fine and dry! :D

Seven brave souls fished in our midweek match last night. We fished Portmarnock just below the promenade fishing was from 8pm -11pm with low tide at 7.15pm we had a rising tide all night. The weather was benign with a little rain at the start giving way to clear skies later. The wind was coming over our right shoulder and flattened out the sea which was not good, all surf beaches need a little blow to get things stirred and Portmarnock was flat calm.
How ever things started well with a few fish coming in, Jason Perry had a Shore Rockling of 25cm in his first cast closely followed by a really fat pig of a rockling at 27cm on his next cast. Eamonn Bermingham was scoring regularly with whiting coming on every cast. Thomas Keogh had a rare double of a Dab and a whiting in the first hour which kept him in the running. The tide pushed us up the beach and the fishing got slower with only the odd fish here and there. Those who didn’t contact fish at the start struggled later.
Overall it was an enjoyable night and we hope to do it soon again......

The final result was:
Thomas Keogh 5 fish 113pts
Jason Perry 4 fish 104pts
Eamonn Bermingham 4 fish 94pts
Mark Darby 3 fish 71pts
Keith Stafford 1 fish 23pts
Paul Mason 1 fish 22pts
Paul Skelly ----------
