Grauvell west coast shore league, final leg 19th November

Hi lads,

final leg of the league is on the 19th november. Host club for the day is Galway Bay SAC, venue is Kiladoon beach co. Mayo.
Check in is at the beach between 1pm-2pm and fishing will be between 3pm-7pm. entries into the competition is €15 for seniors and €10 for juniors and all the entries go towards funding the connaught under age teams that travel to kerry next year.
This is also the last round of the u/16 qualifiers for the connaught team.

If anyone needs any more details please contact me and if your going can you get back to me so we'll know how many pegs to put out.

The prize giving for the competition and the final standings for the league will be back in the Helm afterwards. If anyone needs fresh or frozen bait please call Doug in A Shore Thing on 098 28447 and he'll sort you out. Hope to see you all there. Regards Pete A.

my best guess would be that it is like white strand - and there is part of comp into darkness

otherwise there is a pair of brothers that we all suddenly want to be best friends with who decided on the venue!!!

hi all, the cameras will be there from a tv company that produces shows for the city channel
more details on that later in the week

if you have a smock or fleece from any connacht club or team please wear it on the day - lets make the most of this oppurtunity to promote ourselves

also bring your grauvell bucket if you got one

Haven't done anything with comps,do you need to be a club member to participate in these events?

you need to be a member of an IFSA affiliated club to fish these open competitions

if you like you can buy a day membership to fish the comp think its 10 or 15 euro

Hi lads,

slight change of plans for saturday, the check in will now be in the Helm between 1-2pm SHARP. Mayo Media will be there on the day to film the day so if you have any smock or fleece with your club or provincial logo bring them with you.

i would ask all anglers even if your not in the league this year or in the running to make the prizes to please try and make this comp so we can show case connaught the best we can.

As for the competition, come prepared to be fishing for flats and dogs as we might have to change venue due to weed. Don't forget to bring a bucket with you. If you can't make the check in for that time, phone me on 087 9538750 and i'll sort out a peg for you. Again lads, if you are going please get back to me so i can sort out the right amount of pegs for the comp.
