24 different species of fish were caught over the two days: Coalfish, Cod, Conger, Dab, Flounder, Garfish, Grey Gurnard Red, Gurnard, Haddock, Launce, Dogfish, Ling, Mackerel, Megrim, Plaice, Pollack, Pouting, Scad, Whiting, Ballan Wrasse, Cuckoo Wrasse, Corkwing Wrasse, Dragonet, Poor Cod.
The winner of the junior section was 6 year old Abigail Donnelly fishing on board her father’s boat Reefer she is now becoming a regular visitor to the prize table in the club competitions.
