We had a cracking day!! Really enjoyable and a well run comp!! The weed got the better of me at the end so packed up early! Was nice putting some faces to names! Gonna start fishing the West coast a bit more! Great scenery and great people!!

as the lads said, fair play to sean and kevin. it was the clubs first comp and the lads had the last pick for the league dates so it wasn't the best time of year or tide to fish these venues but it all came together with a good few fish showing. i'd also like to thank all the travelling anglers for your support and we hope to see some of ye back again before the league finish's.

Just to echo what the lads have said, a big thank you to the lads from the east and north coasts who made the effort to travel down.

Also a massive thanks to Pete Atkins for his availability and help on the day. Himself and the lads are really doing their part in putting connaught back on the sea angling map. The young lads starting to emerge from here will be the real deal.

Fishing was reasonable to good for most but the last few pegs on Dunomran who had the misfortune to be close to the crowds on the day.

Special mention to bootsy the mullet.
