Hi all,
Leg 2 of the Grauvell West Coast Shore takes place on the 30th April. The host club is the Western Vikings SAC and the due to the large number of anglers intending to fish this competition a second venue has being added. The venues are Trawee Strand and Dunmoran Strand Co Sligo. Check in time is 10.00 am at the carpark at Trawee Strand and fishing times will be from 12-4.

To find trawee strand take the N59 between Sligo and Ballina and turn off at Templeboy.
For anymore info contact Sean Ivory on 087 7869289 or kevin barber 087 9247288.

Hope to see ye all there.

Most of the beaches are full of fish at the moment, unfortunately this area isnt one of them. Trawee is generally barren of fish even in perfect conditions, although it does on occasion fish spectacularly well, about once every two years! I'll be very glad if I get out of there with a sizeable fish. Anyway I'm just glad to be able to fish a comp within a few mins of home and hats off to the guys for starting up a club in Sligo - its badly needed. Lets just hope its one of those rare good days there.
