Have you joined a club? There is a junior section in most clubs

I have been looking at a few clubs and trying to get heads up to make sure there is no hassles. Spoke to alot of top anglers who now no longer are members of clubs because of the hassle and turning there back on new members and they way members are treated. Would jump at the chance for a good club for Charlotte and myself

If you are speaking to anglers that have lift A club you are speaking to the wrong people about that club.

Ok , well I am a very open minded person and am a good laugh and get alone with everyone.oh the only bad think is I am scottish

I agree, being Scottish is a bad thing

- joke, dont sue me
The guys you are speaking to - what are the good points, if any, that they bring up or try and join the club with the most juvenile members for a year. You will find out if the club suits you and your daughter will see if fishing in a club format suits her.

joining a club should be based on
where they fish ?
when they fish ?
where they fish the kids comp,s ? ( safety)
how many kids in the club ?
join a club for a year , you can always change next year

being honest nick, it is best to try to find a club with a decent number of junior anglers in it, it is definately better for them to have a bit of competition/friendship with others of similar age. when i was a junior at one stage we had something like 27 juniors in our club, which was always good criac and good learning curve to try to stay ahead of them!!
I will have a word with the ulster youth officer to try to find out which clubs may best suit locally to you. will drop you a text with details.
There is also a league runs throughout the year as a qualifier for Ulster junior team, think this is normally run over Ulster open and closed gold medal competitions, so getting into a club now for 2011 would be the best move as im sure the first in the 2011 qualifier legs will be pretty early 2011.
