Just a note on the dowloaded entry form. The €5 from the entry fee goes into a fund which is held by M.P.C. until the Interprovencial's. This is done in the 4 legs of the Munster Closed Shore league.

This €5 was also collected last year with the net result been the anglers who repesented Munster in Kilmuckridge each received €222 in funding this was broken down as follows €172 each from entries over the 4 legs and €50 each from M.P.C.

I have no problem with the new fish sizes and I do know they were passed at the A.G.M.
What I do have a problem with is the change of competition rules for the Munster Closed Shore League midway through the League.

A sub committee was set up by M.PC. where the 4 organizing clubs would construct and implement their own rules and format for the running of the League.

No consultation was held about the change of rule" that a common score card would be introduced and would be used in all 4 legs"

At the time the competition was organised the new fish sizes had not been voted in. As we are all aware fishing in Tramore will yield a large number of smaller fish particularly Bass under 43cms. If these fish are being caught as a by catch why should the angler not get some points for them. No one will deliberatly fish for smaller fish when there is the possibility of catching larger fish. This is not a rule change, the scorecard remains the same as for all the other legs, all that has changed is the fish sizes. We all remember the number of complaints last year for having the fish sizes so high and smaller fish being caught without reward.
