Fished this comp on Saturday night.
Had been following the lead up to it on this site and one of the posts had stated that this was not only
a big fish comp but also a traditional fishing match.
However after the event the prizes were only given competitors who had big fish.
This i found was very annoying as I and indeed many others had only scratched fished and had not targeted big fish.
I would be grateful if any member of the organising committee would like to clarify the situation.

Nail, the name of the comp was "The Big Fish Bomber",, it always has been and always will be a big fish event, the match side this year was because we added Penn Points as we had been asked last year could we add them next time which we did, and to be honest it didn't add many anglers to the event so we wont be using them next time, the prizes were done in the same way as usual with an additional prize added for the winner with most points.. I hope this clears this up for you..

Wasn't there a first prize given out on the night to the winner of the penn points match with the highest points !!! I seem to have read that in the report on the casting page , so I don't see your point Niall ?
