Just wondering if the lads organising this have given an consideration to the spacing between each peg. it might be a nightmare if the hounds turn up and the pegs are to close together.

Reminder that check in is from half six on Sat the 16th of july at the car park at Kilgorman. This is not an IFSA event so even if your not affiliated to the federation all anglers will be covered under Sports cast Irelands Insurance. Please let us know if you are going to attend so we can peg the beach, organised score cards etc.
The first prize is for the biggest fish and in the event of a tie the next longest fish of the two compeditors will detirmine the result. Mackeral, weever, Launce and scad all will not count but dogfish will count in a change to what was said in the first post. Only one rod may be used and a maximum of 3 hooks on the traces. There are no bait restrictions. Stewards will be on hand to help measure fish. There are no bait restrictions. Committe decisions are final. Weather permitting we will have a Bbq with burgers available for €2 supplied by Gerry Mitchel.

Father and son pegs will be available for this, Juniors will be eligable for all the prizes should they beat the old hands We suggest a donation of €30 for father and sons fishing the bomber. Tom Burness has also kindly donated an Ian Golds fixed spool reel.

just picked up another 2 prizes from gotcha angling in greystones,
a team daiwa seat box and a team daiwa umbrella, two more excellent prizes,
have to say its a great shop to, has a bit of everything in it, first time ive been there and wont be the last

Great prizes fair play to all who contributed. Im am hoping that original bomber Richard holgate will send over a signed bomber rig tied by himself which can be presented to the overall winner.

The end of the lane at the enterance to Killgorman holiday park, if you come into castletown you pass the Anchor pub on you left drive about half a mile and you will see a Tra/beach sign post its about a mile down that lane.

weather looks to be ok for the bbq all goin well we will sart the bbq up around 9 or so , see you all there

I think I know that one Shane. Fished the place last Friday. (no big hounds, loads of small guys, Dogs and Dabs) Does it leave you in the middle of the beach? I didn't notice much room for parking down there.

Loads of room there, Leinster League, masters & fish offs all had zones on that stretch if I remember correctly. You just have to park on the verge all the way back up the road.
