Would anyone have information on a wreck located in the middle of Donegal bay . The position is about 54.32 N , 8.37 W .. What size is it , how old is it , is it worth fishing.Where are the inshore marks for bottom fishing (ray etc. )

There isn't any wrecks in Donegal Bay worth fishing. The old coal boat the Thrushbank is just about ok for coalies. The recently sunk Ogano doesn't seem to be producing yet, might not be down long enough yet for a reef ecosystem to build up properly yet. Better of heading to the reefs.

Plenty between St. John's Point and Drumano Head, or close in around the Point Head. If your not familar with the area then ensure you have a plotter on your boat or have a good look at an admiralty chart as there are a number of sumberged & semi submerged rocks in that area.

Ill try over that direction soon . Untill now most of the fishing has been out past Inis Duff and the cliffs at Teelin. I have the Imray charts but there not that detailed. Catches have been ok so far with plenty of whiting , Red gurnard , Pollock and Mackerel. Cant find any Ray or Plaice etc. I see what you mean about hidden rocks. Last Friday on a relatively calm day , the breakers out past Drumanoo head must have been 25 feet.
