Who skippers this boat, where does it Launch from?

Fishing around Copeland offers you 2 real Choices, Fish the Banks around the back of the Islands where you can expect Codling, for fish around the various rough marks for Pollack, Coalies, Red Codling and Wrasse, The latter seems to be the more popular of the expeditions embarked upon, make sure you take plenty of Rag with you, try leadheading and flowing traces for the Pollack and Coalies, while Patanosters with a Floaty bead are better for the Wrasse, Size 3/0 hooks are optimum, there's some big Daddy wrasse around those Islands.

Ground around the Back of the Island consists mainly of Rocky pinacles and kelp forests, with the odd bit of Broken ground thrown in for good measure, this is where you'll be most likely to contact a Codling or 2, Should be Mackeral about if you're feathering. Oh joy.

Good Luck Sir. 8)

I'd say the deeper water off the North Side of the Island should start producing mackeral shortly.
