Kilmore Quay area conger?

Postby pajo » Tue Jan 07, 2020 4:51 pm

Hi all,

Has anyone fished the Kilmore area for conger at anchor?

It seems like ideal conger territory with all the rough ground but I rarely see (or indeed hear of) any being caught or targeted..

Thanks,
Pajo

Thanks for the responses men.

Thanks Dezzer it's unusual alright.

Jellybait I fish out of Kilmore a good bit myself usually with Dick Hayes. Yeah there seems to be a few more ling around the last couple of years alright.

Do you mean there's a good few ling or conger on the reefs?

Thanks,
Pajo
