Major fishing disappointment

Postby seafisherman » Sat Nov 18, 2017 10:36 am

Hi guys probley in the last four years fishing out of cork for haddock cod and decent whiten have been absolutely disappointing.. drifted every square inch around the lings and outside it.. but no joy.. before that we'd always pick up few nice fish. Just wanna put it out there that the lack of fish is alarming!! Any of us lads have the same issue?

absolutely. it is alarming. it couldn't get any more depressing.
there's no fish up here in the north either. Over-fishing has completely devastated out seas.
Here's a link to a thread that was posted a few years back: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=32701&hilit=depressing&start=20
It's a report from AL & Jordan but the conversation eventually turns into one of concern and despair.. This problem has been ongoing for a long time now.
